1、Basic facts
The plaintiff, Mr. Yao, is a patent holder for the appearance of practical new parts of a machine tool mould. He has a patent certificate issued by the Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China, and the patent is still under protection. The defendant,certain hardware manufacturer company, produces and sells the patented products without plaintiff’s authorization, which infringes the plaintiff's intellectual property rights. The plaintiff demanded that the defendant immediately stop manufacturing and selling infringing products infringing upon the plaintiff's patents,destroy the stock infringing products and the moulds used to manufacture infringing products, and compensate  for the plaintiff's economic losses and the cost of defending rights.
 
2、Result of judgment
After hearing in court, the court of first instance make the following judgment according to law:
The defendant stopped manufacturing and selling products that infringed the plaintiff's patent rights, destroyed the moulds in stock and compensated the plaintiff for 100,000 yuan of economic losses and rights protection expenses.
